Minecraft Phantasy Quest EP1 The Flooded Village

The goal of this Minecraft series is to build an army and a safe place in a dangerous land full of overpowered monsters and adventures. I also altered the world generation using the custom world generation options creating an unique distorted world for Minecraft.

Another Mario Odyssey Tale 1 - A Giant Problem In New Donk City

The crazies thing happened during my recent trip to New Donk City in the Metro Kingdom, a Giant Mario appeared out of no where. He didn't seem like he was trying to hurt people, in fact he was quite careful not to.

Understandably the people were in a panic, and so the army was called in.

General Mario; "Alright giant, state your intentions!"

Giant Mario; "I'm not a giant, at least I didn't want to be. I was just an ordinary Mario an hour ago."

The Giant Mario explained that he was out for a walk when a mysterious Mario gave him a mushroom and after eating said mushroom grew into a Giant Mario.

Since the Giant Mario wasn't causing any problems since he appeared, General Mario decided he would have his army help the Giant Mario and get him out of the city to a place where he and other's would be safe.

Giant Mario was soon relocated to the Cascade Kingdom where no one would get harmed until Giant Mario can be returned to normal.

As for the mysterious Mario who gave him the mushroom, his whereabouts are currently unknown. An artist rendering has been distributed all around the Metro Kingdom.

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild
 One of the release titles for the Nintendo Switch, an exciting open world adventure. The game has it's problems but it's incredibly fun and in a way calming at time.

Super Mario Odyssey
 Going back to the style of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine their is so much fun to be had in Super Mario Odyssey, with several hundreds of Power Moons to collect this game will keep you playing for awhile.

Sonic Forces
 Sonic is captured and Eggman has taken control of most of the planet, reminds me of the old Archie Comics Sonic and the Sonic SatAm cartoon. The fast paced action and good difficulty made this a very fun game to play.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2
 Although I haven't finished this game as of this post I have been enjoying it so far. I hear it has it's problems but what game doesn't.

Puyo Puyo Tetris
Every now and then I enjoy a good puzzle and Puyo Puyo Tetris brings not one but two classic puzzle game series to the Nintendo Switch. It also brings modes where you switch between the two and a mode where you play both together.

Pokemon Ultra Moon Stream Fail

So last night I decided to try doing some streaming on Twitch with Pokemon Ultra Moon. When I stream or record 3DS games I mute my computers audio and plug my headphones into my 3DS, but the streaming/recording software still uses the laptop audio. Well I forgot I was listening to Pandora radio before the stream and forgot to close out of it, so it played during the whole stream without me knowing. Because of that I had to delete my 1 hour stream and not upload it to Youtube. That it why their will not be missing gameplay footage between episodes 1 and 2.

Pokemon Ultra Moon My First Look - I Choose You - I'm The Rival

My first look at the new Pokemon Ultra Sun for 3DS handheld systems. Who will I choose to be be my starter in this new adventure in the Alola Region? What are the secrets of Dawn Wing Necrozma?

So I played 2 hours the other day of the new game Pokemon Ultra Moon and here are some of my thoughts so far.

So far the game is almost similar to the original Sun and Moon games, only a few differences that mysterious people are seen in a few scenes. We learn later that they are from a different world and that they came to Alola to return Light to their world.

As for the Pokemon, I decided to start with Litten this time as I choose Popplio in Pokemon Sun and wanted to try the Fire Pokemon this time around. After choosing Litten, who is known as the heel Pokemon, I started to turn my commentary more into what a heel would say. For those that don't know a heel means a bad guy, usually used as a wrestling term these day.

It was soon after my rival chose Rowlet that I realized that the antagonistic rival for the Pokemon Gen 7 games... Was me!

Sonic Forces Hopes For The Game

It's not much longer until the new Sonic The Hedgehog game comes out and I've stayed away from spoilers so I can start fresh when the game comes out. All I now is that Eggman is destroying a city and you can create your own character.

As for what I hope for the game, I hope that the game has gameplay similar to Sonic Generations or like the Sonic stages in Sonic Adventure. I also hope that the game does a good job telling it's story unlike a certain other Sonic series.

I hope the developers just make a Sonic game without trying to add in new things again and end up taking away from the game. I just want a good Sonic game.

Stick Fight The Game First Impression

So I finally got around to trying out the new fighting game people have been talking about called Stick Fight The Game available on Steam.



The game itself is a simple to understand game, just pummel your opponents into submission. Randomly items (mostly guns) will fall from the sky to give the player who grabs them an advantage.

My first impression rating for this game is
Good

for $5 the game is worth it.

A Hat In Time - Live Stream

Today I lived streamed the first two hours of the new game A Hat In Time, a 3D platformer game. I ended up really enjoying the game and suggest getting the game yourselves. Right now you can get the game on Steam.

What Games Will I Be Buying For The Rest Of The Year? UPDATE

 With Nintendo's new rule of no more live streaming their games, I no longer have as much desire to do a lets play on them now. So I have to make a new plan.

With my income down and the year coming to a close in 3 months, I decided I need to plan ahead for what video games I gonna spend my money on. Currently I have 3 video games that I plan to buy and also do lets plays of on my Youtube Gaming Channel.

A Hat In Time, a 3D platformer in the vein of the old 3D collect-a-thons will be released later today and is the first game I will be buying. I also now plan on doing a live stream of the game when I get it.

Even with my desire to LP Nintendo games are at a low, I'll still be getting Super Mario Odyssey. And with my money being tight this year I'll probably still do a lets play of the game.

The next game I plan to buy is Sonic Forces which is to be released on November 7th. I love me some Sonic and I hope this one will be good like Sonic Mania.

 I'm also interested in getting and LP'ing RIME and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

What Games Will I Be Buying For The Rest Of The Year?

With my income down and the year coming to a close in 3 months, I decided I need to plan ahead for what video games I gonna spend my money on. Currently I have 3 video games that I plan to buy and also do lets plays of on my Youtube Gaming Channel.

The first game will be released in the USA on October 20th,  Fire Emblem Warriors. I enjoyed Hyrule Warriors on the Nintendo Wii U, but as for the strategy RPG series Fire Emblem I could never get into it. Since the gameplay is that of the Warrior series I'm gonna give this game a shot.

The second video game I'm gonna buy will be Super Mario Odyssey being release on October 27th. I love the Super Mario series and Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine being some of my favorites, I am so excited to see the return of this form.

The last game I plan to buy is Sonic Forces which is to be released on November 7th. I love me some Sonic and I hope this one will be good like Sonic Mania.

I recently watched a video on Youtube by a guy that calls himself ProtoMario who talked a bit about Super Smash Brothers 4 and how some people expected it to be revealed in the Nintendo Direct yesterday and for it to be released this holiday (here's a link to his video). But as I was watching the video I had my own thoughts...

What If A Switch Port Of Smash 4 Gets Canceled And the Cause Is The High Sales Of The Switch Console Itself

Yeah, I hate myself for thinking it but it's definitely possible. As most gamers know Super Smash Brothers is what I would call a console seller, people would buy the console just so they could play this game. The problem is the console is already selling out of stock as fast as Nintendo can supply it, so their is no reason to release a Smash port to sell the console when their are no more stock of the console to sell.

I believe if we don't here anything about a Smash 4 port for Nintendo Switch by E3 2018, than I believe Nintendo would of canceled it in favor of a Smash 5 in a few more years instead.

Video Games I Want To Play But Haven't - Sonic The Hedgehog 2006

For one reason or another, their are many games that end up going right by me. Whether I don't have the money, or another video game got my attention and I forgot about it, or something else. Their will always be some great video games that I will miss. So I'm going to start posting about such games, I could of made this a list of games but I'm going to take my time doing this and not have to get it all in one post.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2006

I said I wanted to play them, I never said I would enjoy them or that they are all good. I happen to be a big Sonic fan from his glory days on the Genesis. We Nintendo fanboys knew that the original Sonic games were great but at the time we just couldn't say it (the whole Nintendo Vs Sega thing was going on and you had to pick a side).

When I first heard of Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 I was disappointed that it wasn't coming to the Nintendo Wii, instead a different Sonic game was created and very quickly, Sonic and The Secret Rings was a game I knew I wasn't going to enjoy as much as 06. Well I still haven't played Sonic 06 but Sonic and The Secret Rings still drive me nuts, just check my lets play on it. Click Here

I have heard and seen how glitchy Sonic 06 is, but that still doesn't stop me from wanting to play it, even if it's just for some laughs.

LIVE MASTER MODE ZELDA BOTW LP EP24 - DeathTrap Sword Trials

I am the Chibi Knight, ChibiKage89. I'll be taking in the Trial of the Sword in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild live. The Trial of the Sword is a deathtrap in the Master Mode's harder difficulty. With the enemies recovering their health at a rapid rate this deathtrap will make your average video gamer rage hard.

The side scrolling Metroid titles have been a favorite of mine since the NES days, but the weakest of them I'd say would be Metroid 2 Return of Samus. Their are 2 reasons for this, firstly the graphics are pretty much the same in most areas, and second is the lack of a map. It can get confusing on where you been and where to go. The first game on the NES didn't have a map either but since you only needed to hunt down 2 bosses and then the Mother Brain, it wasn't anywhere as bad.

So now Nintendo fans have started remaking Metroid 2 but Nintendo took it down in favor of their own re imagining of the Gameboy title, and it looks good. This was the Metroid I've been waiting for since the release of the 3DS and can't wait to get my hands on it.

Understandably some people are upset that the game isn't on the Nintendo Switch but personally even if they did port it I would get the 3DS version (unless it was an HD version). The depth that the 3D effect of the parallax screen brings is enjoyable to me, even if not everyone agrees.

What I'm looking foward to is the remake having a map, the new actions Samus can do in combat, and taking on all the Metroid forms again.

What I'm worried about is that the game doesn't sell well like most Metroid titles and once again gets swept under the rug by Nintendo for another dozen years.

Do I Think Nintendo Will Suffer From The 4K Competitor XBOX One X

No, I don't.

Nintendo has a good concept with the portable home console the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo can still pull out a 4K addon for the system.

I'm still adamant that Nintendo can turn their new console the Nintendo Switch into a 4K beast with a simple addon. As I've said before, this can be done by using the Switch base unit to house the additional hardware and people will like it because the whole 4K thing won't be crammed down their throats and can upgrade at their own time.

GameXplain's Nintendo E3 2017 Predictions - Super Mario Odyssey, Retro Studios, & Smash Bros Switch?

So the Youtube channel GameXplain has posted their predictions for Nintendo's E3 2017, which will be in a few days.

What Do I expect to see at Nintendo's E3 Showcase

Nintendo has toned down on the whole E3 thing since they started doing Nintendo Directs so this one won't be any different, but that doesn't mean they won't have things to show off. This is a quick list of what I expect Nintendo to bring to the show, so in no particular order, lets begin.

I think the big four will be:
Super Mario Odyssey
Arms
Splatoon 2
Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC
All of which will get a new trailer and be playable on the show floor. The trailers will reveal more about the games and new stages.

Other notible entries will be:
Pokken Tournament DX
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon

I also think they will reveal a new game:
2.5D Metroid for 3DS
3D Metroid for Switch (not a Metroid Prime 4 but people will still subtitle it as such)
The reason for a 3D Metroid on Switch would be to give the Switch a good variety of games as I don't think it really has a big shooter right now, however since I'm not big on FPS games I'll be more excited bout the 2.5D Metroid on 3DS.

Recap On The Recent Pokemon Direct

So Nintendo and the Pokemon Company recently had a Direct video where they revealed some new Pokemon games coming out for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver are set to be re released on the Nintendo Virtual Console for the Nintendo 3DS, unfortunately Crystal has not been included in this. I remembered playing my copy of Pokemon Gold back when I was a kid, whenever I remembered to, I would go to the Pokemon Bug Catching mini game. It was like a more interesting version of the Safari Zone and I loved it not for the reward but for the game itself.

Pokken Tournament DX is a new version of the Wii U version with added characters. The likely re release of this game could probably be to try and give it another chance at life as games on the Wii U did have some challenges.

Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon, looks like Pokemon Stars isn't happening.

Frieza Tournament Of Power Predictions - Freeza Predictions

So Freeza or Frieza in the English dub (still pronounced the same), has been chosen to be the tenth man for Universe 7 replacing Majin Buu. This came as a surprise to me to bring back the most evil villian in the Dragon Ball Z series, but how will he fair in the Tournament of Power?

Well I'm sure Freeza will be using his teammates as a shield a few times in the battle, and try to kill Goku getting himself killed. I just can't see this working out.

Why Does Mario Wear Gloves?

Nintendo's iconic plumber Mario has worn gloves in most of his adventures, games where he doesn't wear gloves are the arcade classics Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. as well as games where he's a baby. In Luigi's Mansion on the Gamecube Luigi finds one of Mario's gloves but later Mario is still seen wearing his gloves.

So why does Mario wear gloves?

Some people think that it has to do with his job as a plumber, but I have my doubts about that. He wouldn't need to wear them all the time if he did that. Also I'm sure his gloves would be quite stained unless he keeps buying new one (though that would explain the extra glove in Luigi's Mansion).

A joke answer I came across was that Mario was a serial killer and used them to cover up his trail. Now this is implausible as well, Mario hasn't killed anyone since I last played Super Mario Maker yesterday... um.

So why does Mario wear gloves? My answer.

Mario's first game wearing gloves was Mario Bros. a game where you hit blocks to stun enemies, this is the key to my answer. Afterwards it became common for Mario to punch blocks to get power ups or other reasons. It's quite simple then, he wears them for the padding so he doesn't break his hands on all those blocks.

Dragon Ball Super - My Thoughts On Freeza As The Tenth Man

The space conqueror Freeza (or Frieza in some dubs spellings) has been chosen to replace Majin Buu for the upcoming Tournament of Power. This is a huge shock as Freeza isn't exactly friends with Son Goku and the gang it might have something to do with their hand in his death.

Freeza is incredibly powerful and could prove to be more reliable than Majin Buu. Freeza is even powerful enough to go head to head with Super Saiyan Blue, but can we trust him to not try and kill everyone?

Dragon Ball Super Tournament Of Power Predictions

Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power is will be starting soon so lets make some predictions of are favorite Universe 7 team members and how they will fare in the tournament.

First to be eliminated I predict will be Android 18.
A shocking early knockout after the small fries get eliminated and the threat of Universe 7 poses is revealed. The first quarter ends with Android 18's elimination.

Second to be eliminated I predict to be Tien Shinhan,
Holding their own till the second quarter of the tournament most of the other teams are now focusing on Universe 7. It's now a hard battle against many powerful opponents and the second to fall will be Tien Shinhan.

Third to be eliminated I predict to be Piccolo
Having been identified as the team leader more focus has been put on Gohan, as Gohan is being overwhelmed Piccolo comes in to aid him, with their new combination attacks the duo hits back hard. Gohan ends up getting overconfident again and is nearly eliminated, but Piccolo once again comes in to save the half Saiyan and end up the one getting eliminated by doing so.

Forth to be eliminated I predict to be Master Roshi
Thanks to Master Roshi's cunning and experience, he managed to last to through most of the second quarter of the tournament of power. However Master Roshi's age finally catches up to him and forces him to forfeit from the battle.

Fifth to be eliminated I predict to be Majin Buu
Powered up from his training, Majin Buu makes it to the 3rd quarter of the tournament. He puts up an impressive fight but then end up fighting who might be the strongest fighter in the tournament and is easily eliminated.

Sixth to be eliminated I predict to be Son Goku
Having lasted until the end of the 3rd quarter Team 7 is looking like the favorite to win, but with the elimination of Majin Buu thing take a turn. Seeing how strong the one who defeated Buu is Goku rushes to fight the guy, but he finds that not even Kioken Super Saiyan Blue isn't enough and is eliminated.

Seventh to be eliminated I predict to be Android 17
Having surprised even members of universe 7 with his strength, Android 17 and Krillin take out the rest of the small and medium powered opponents. But when they face against a strong opponent it is revealed that Android 17 has cybernetic enhancements and is almost eliminated for having them, but the Omni King decided to let him continue fighting anyways. However learning that such things were against the rules of the tournament Android 17 goes and eliminates himself.

And so we are down to the last 3 members of Team 7, Krillin and Vegeta take out the rest except for one thanks to Krillins sacrifice and get himself eliminated.Vegeta then takes to the last opponent and get beat easily, leaving the final battle to be Son Gohan vs this powerful opponent.

Being on the receiving end, Son Gohan true power finally emerges as he transforms into a god himself. However it's not the same as Goku's or Vegeta's. This is a half Saiyan half Earthing god form. The battle then continues and both fighters are evenly matched and then the time limit of the tournament has been reached.

The Omni King is upset and demands the tournement to continue which upsets some but Son Gohan and others from Universe 7 request that the match continues, and so it does. The battle ends with Son Gohans elimination followed be his opponent. Some applaud for team 7 loss, but are then reminded that Vegeta has not yet been eliminated.

Then team 7 makes a wish on the Super Dragon Balls that the Omni King to not destroy the universes that lost, but are revealed that even he cannot go against the Omni King, but in a twist the Omni King accepts the wish and everyone lived happily ever after.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

 I already have Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Wii U and it's still fun to play that, so Mario Kart 8 Deluxe barely makes the list with it's improved battle mode. I am looking forward to firing shells, collecting coins, and catching my opponent in the new Renegade Roundup.

 

Super Mario Odyssey

 I'll have to wait till later this year, but platformers are one of my go to genres in video games. Mario goes back to a more Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine free roam style of levels in a quest to save Princess Peach from Bowser.

Sonic Forces

 Oh hey, we can make our own custom Sonic characters in this one. It's about time Sega let's it's fans use their OCs.
So somehow Dr. Eggman Robotnik has conquered the world, or so the trailers would have us believe. I don't know what's going on so I have to find out.

Sonic Mania

 Classic side scrolling Sonic the hedgehog gameplay. I think I just said the reason to get it.

Puyo Puyo Tetris

 Every once in awhile I get the need to play a puzzle game, and Puyo Puyo and Tetris are some of the biggest names in that category. For Myself it's more for Tetris and the fact I can take it on the go just sells it for me.

Snake Pass

 When I saw the trailer for Snake Pass I became interested in how you played it, instead of jumping from platform to platform you had to coil around objects to slither your way through the game. It's like a puzzle platformer where you can't jump, but can climb in a unique way. I have thought of getting it on Steam, but the thought of the portable Nintendo Switch console just makes me want that one instead.

Fast RMX

 I've been aware of this series for awhile now and have been meaning to get it at some point. I am a fan of the high paced F-Zero series by Nintendo and this spiritual successor just makes up for the fact Nintendo hasn't made a new one in years.

I Am Setsuna

 I actually don't know much about this video game, I needed a tenth game for the list and I thought a JRPG would help make the list more well rounded. I also wanted to play an JRPG as I haven't played one in a long time other than Pokemon.

ARMS

 I'm not one for fighting games, but sometimes I find a series I like (example Super Smash Bros), so I wanted to give the new Nintendo IP ARMS a try.

Splatoon 2

I enjoyed the first one whenever I got around to playing it, like the last game I'm not the biggest fan of shooters, but I play me some Splatoon 2.

How Could A Nintendo Switch Expansion Addon Work

Back during the Bit Wars of the 8-bit and 16-bit era and even before than, addons where often created for home consoles. Some examples are the Famicom Disc System and the Sega CD, such addons where used to allow home consoles to do more then what they were originally designed for. Some even enhanced the power of a console like the Sega 32x.

But can the Nintendo Switch ever get such an addon? The answer is an easy yes.

In fact the Nintendo Switch already has an addon that allows you to play your games on the television. That's right, the Nintendo Switch dock can be considered an addon to the Nintendo Switch, and even though it currently doesn't add any sort of power enhancement at this time, Nintendo could release a version that does.

Nintendo has stated that the Nintendo Switch can deliver some 4K gameplay at 30 fps, it can't do it for all games. Well a Nintendo Switch Dock addon with additional hardware could turn this already great console into a true 4K gaming beast.

What would be needed in the addon would be;

• An additional CPU
• An additional GPU
• Additional Memory

The CPU is already pretty good for what it's given now, but for 4K at 60fps a little boost would help, same goes for the GPU. As for the memory, Id say an additional 8 to 12 GBs would be needed. Current games would also need a patch to be able to use such an addon.

As for the price of such an expansion, I'd estimate a retail $200 to $300, which does see kind of expensive as you have to add the Nintendo Switch price on top of that. If you consider that fact that the Switch is also a portable, it'll be similar in price to buying a portable console and a home console which some people already do.

Little Nightmares Gameplay Live Part 1 - Chibi The Video Gamer

I had a bit of trouble getting this stream started but those in chat said it was good so I continued.


So I wanted to play something different today and found a game on Steam called Little Nightmares, a game that's said to pray on your childhood fears. So far the creepy atmosphere is quite terrifying. With nothing telling me what's going on I have to leave it up to my mind and what I can see to tell the story.

From what I can tell, I'm a little kid hiding from monsters that rule the world. They keep other kids imprisoned with constant fear. Find out more by watching the video above or by playing the game, and don't forget to leave a like to help me out.
